The choice of fiber is important when selecting a cleaning product. Each fiber has properties that are unique and tailored to the types of surfaces. The technical information will help determine the ideal fiber for your broom, your brush or your mop.

Durastran (Styrene) is a synthetic fiber, available in straight or crimped version and in a variety of colors. It withstands moisture and has excellent wearing properties. When the ends are "flagged" the fiber allows for more fine dust retention making it ideal for smooth hard surfaces. Other Properties: High set resistance, high springiness, higher yield than PVC.
